Manuela Cantu Rosa

Manuela Cantu "Meme" Rosa, 90, of Coachella, Calif., went to be with the Lord on April 24, 2009 in Rancho Mirage, Calif. She was born June 10, 1918 to Pedro Cantu and Fidela Villarreal in Concepcion, Texas. She married Adan Rosa on June 15, 1944 in Realitos, Texas and was a homemaker. Manuela is survived by her daughters, Linda Romero of Indio, Calif., Martha Ramirez of Hesperia, Calif., Mary Rivera of Indio, Calif., Janie Delgadillo of Indio, Calif.; sons, Baldo Guerra of Mission, Texas, Adam Rosa of Coachella, Calif., Roel Rosa of Las Cruces, NM; sisters, Wilma Slayton of Texas and Bertha LeBeu of Texas; 30 grandchildren and 58 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her spouse Adan Rosa. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM on May 3, 2009 with Rosary at 6:00 PM at Coachella Chapel Forest Lawn, Coachellla, Calif. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 PM on May 4, 2009 at Our Lady of Soledad Catholic Church, Coachella, CA,. with burial at 2:00 PM at Coachella Cemetery.
