Palm Desert, CA - With a heavy heart we announce the passing of our beloved Michael Anthony Santella on September 4, 2020 at the age of 28. Michael was born June 5, 1992 in Palm Springs, CA to loving parents Daryl and Karen Santella. He was a talented musician and songwriter, he worked in the sound and lighting industry. Michael had a big heart and loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved the beach and spending time at the beach house in Oceanside writing music. He enjoyed hiking and being outdoors. He was a good tennis player and enjoyed golf, but music was his heart.

Michael is survived by his parents Daryl and Karen Santella of Palm Desert, CA; grandmother Phyllis Santella of Summerlin, NV; aunts and uncles Danielle (godmother) and Dominic Kaylor of Summerlin, NV; Denise and Michael Bogden of Summerlin, NV; Dale and Theresa Santella of Pittsburgh, PA and cousins Michele, Marie and Michol Miller.

Michael touched the lives of everyone he met and will be greatly missed. He was a registered donor. From his donation fifty patients' lives have been greatly impacted. His family has made it their mission to honor Michael's life by encouraging us all to become a registered donor.

Visitation will take place Monday, September 28, 2020 from 5 - 8 PM at Victory Outreach Church in Indio, CA. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday , September 29, 2020, 9:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Palm Desert, CA, followed by graveside service at Desert Memorial Park.
