Miguel Espinoza

Miguel Espinoza, 65, of Coachella, Calif died on July 8, 2010 in his home in Coachella. He was born on September 26, 1944 to Miguel Espinoza Sr. and Guadalupe Barajas in Indio, Calif. He worked for Mitich Consturction Co. and coached both girls and mens softball teams. He served in the U.S. Army from September of 1967 to July of 1969 as an Infantry Sergeant. He is survived by daughter Cynthia Calderon of Coachella Calif., Sons Miguel Espinoza Jr. and Rene Espinoza, both of Coachella Calif., Sisters Marlene Flores and Sharon Axelrod of Coachella, Calif., Rosie Medina and Rachel Medina of Selma, Calif., brothers Cirilo Espinoza of Coachella Calif., Randall Flores of Indio, Calif., Frankie Flores of Santa Ana Calif., and Ruben Flores of Fresno, Calif., long time friend Estella Cruz of Indio Calif., 4 grand-children, and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Miguel Espinoza, mother Guadalupe Barajas, sister Theresa Espinoza, and brothers Larry, Frank, and Gerald Flores, and Anthony Jara. Visitation will be from 5-9pm, with a Prayer service at 7pm on July 15, 2010 at Forest Lawn in Coachella Calif. A Funeral Mass will be held at 8am on July 16, 2010 at the Forest Lawn Coachella Chapel. Burial will be at 9:30am at Coachella Valley Cemetary in Coachella, Calif.
