I miss Norma. We have oftentimes sat together at dinner before the theatre . We belonged to AAUW. She was funny, and found humor in the simplest things. We need more Normas in this world.

Just a long time resident and the daughter of another local physician (Randy Blakeley, M.D. deceased 2007) who remembers both Norma and Ed...
The era of the great ones is rapidly closing in and makes one feel humbled by the emptiness they leave behind.
God speed to all, and please know there are others who share the pain and grief of losing a loved one.

Norma was so much fun. She had an opinion about everyone and everything. She was very helpful to me during my years as president of PSAAUW. I'm sorry to hear of her passing and know she will be missed by her family and friends, including me.

To the family and loved ones of Norma Stempler,
My husband and I had the pleasure of knowing Norma and saw her often when she worked along side her husband, Ed at the Sunlife Medical Center Building in Palm Desert.
Norma was always very open and friendly and enjoyed being around people.
She will be missed, our deepest condolences to you during this difficult time.

Wonderful, warm memories of Norma. Sharron and I met her at the Liz Nash Planning Session several years ago and she was so delightful - smart, dedicated, fun and she loved gossip. We felt her absence in the Branch right away, but understood she wanted to be with her family. Sharrell Blakeley
