Robert Feinberg Obituary
Palm Desert - Palm Desert, CA -Robert (Bob) Feinberg, 83, passed away suddenly on November 24th, 2018.
He was born in Boston, Mass. to the late David and Rose Feinberg. Bob is survived by his soul mate of 61 years, Martha; his daughter, Nancy of Venice, CA; his son, Jeff, and his wife, Leslie, of Wilmington, MA; and his loving nieces, nephews and great nieces. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Dorothy Foster of Boca Raton, FL.
A graduate of Northeastern University followed by post graduate studies at MIT, Bob held executive positions at both Textron Corporation and Lawrence Livermore Labs focused on Laser Technology. Bob also served in the U.S. Army and Reserves from 1958 - 1966 achieving the rank of Captain. Retiring in 2000, Bob was active in several clubs within the Sun City Community. Bob was an avid golfer and enjoyed music and spending time with family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in his name are invited to consider the Cumberland Academy of Georgia, 650 Mount Vernon Hwy NE, Atlanta, GA 30328.
