Roger Callahan Obituary

Roger J Callahan, 88, of La Quinta, Calif. passed away November 4, 2013 in La Quinta, Calif. of natural causes. He was born May 8, 1925 to Jeremiah Callahan and Dimple Rogers in Detroit, Mich. He married Joanne Laughrin on July 22, 1991 in San Diego, Calif. He was a clinical psychologist for 58 years. He served in the Army from 1942-1946 as an Aerial Gunner. He is survived by his wife Joanne Callahan of La Quinta, Calif., daughters: Patti Phillips of El Cajon, Calif., Amy Callahan of La Mesa, Calif., Martha De Marco of Norwell, Mass. son, Scott Callahan of Norwell, Mass., eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Private memorial services and interment will be held November 26, 2013 at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, Calif. Forest Lawn of Coachella is in charge of arrangements. The family suggests that donations be made to TFT Foundation, P.O. Box 1220, La Quinta, CA 92247
