Sally Cabanyog Obituary
Sally Ann Cabanyog, 64, of Coachella, Calif., passed away after a long battle with cancer on September 10, 2012 in Indio, Calif., with her loving family by her side. She was born June 16, 1948 to Rodolfo and Lucy Lopez in Salinas, Calif. She married Angelo C. Cabanyog on June 11, 1972, in San Diego, Calif. She retired as Medical Records Technician from Lucy Curci Imaging Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif. She is survived by daughter, Arlene (Brian) Carrion of Indio; sons, Michael (Melinda) Cabanyog, and Jason (Angela) Cabanyog, both of Indio, and Angel (Angelica) Cabanyog of Coachella; sisters, Margie Lopez of Desert Hot Springs, Calif. and Martha Lopez of Indio; and brother, Jerry Lopez of Coachella. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn in Coachella. She was preceded in death by husband, Angelo Cabanyog and son, Richard Bennie Hinsley. The family suggests that donations be made to The Desert Cancer Foundation in Palm Desert, Calif. Sally I will miss you very much on Monday I was thinking of you because it was my 51st Birthday and you always went out of your way to say Happy Birthday but that Wednesday when I asked a co-worker how you were doing they told me you have pass I was in shock and being that I have not worked for almost 2 years because I'm disabled my heart began to cry. Sally was one of the best people I ever had the pleasure of meeting, and I truly mean that... This is such an amazing welcoming and loving beautiful family. Sally always made me feel like family, just like the rest of you have...and she gave me the same warm feelings my own grandma who passed Gave me... I loved her like family and am so sad that she is gone, but she's resting now and out of pain..
