Con profundo pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de Alma Lorena Sánchez Arellano, quien partió en paz rodeada de su familia el 20 de marzo de 2026, a la edad de 53 años, en Bryan, Texas. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Argentina y César; y su hermano, Javier.
Nacida el 6 de mayo de 1972 en Tamaulipas, México, Alma será recordada por su fortaleza, amor incondicional y dedicación a su familia. A lo largo de su vida enfrentó muchos desafíos de salud con valentía, dejando un ejemplo de resiliencia y dignidad.
Le sobreviven su esposo de 40 años, Rubén Sánchez; sus hijos, Lorena, Rubén Jr. y Chris Sánchez; su nuera, Sandra; y sus queridas nietas, Ellie, Aubri y Rubi. También le sobreviven sus hermanos, Julio, Roy, Raúl e Irma Arellano, así como familiares políticos, sobrinos, sobrinas y familia extendida.
Alma fue una esposa devota, madre y abuela amorosa, y una querida hermana, tía y amiga, cuya presencia dejó una huella imborrable en todos quienes la conocieron. Siempre será recordada por su amor, su espíritu vibrante y la alegría que llevaba a cada lugar.
La familia agradece sinceramente el apoyo y pide que la mantengan a ella y a sus seres queridos en sus pensamientos y oraciones durante este difícil momento.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Alma Lorena Sánchez Arellano, who passed away peacfully surrounded by her family on March 20, 2026, at the age of 53 in Bryan, Texas. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Argentina and Cesar and her brother, Javier.
Born on May 6, 1972, in Tamaulipas, Mexico, Alma will be remembered for her strength, unconditional love, and devotion to her family. She faced many health challenges throughout her life with courage, leaving behind an example of resilience and dignity.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Rubén Sánchez; her children, Lorena, Rubén Jr., and Chris Sánchez; her daughter-in-law, Sandra; and her beloved granddaughters, Ellie, Aubri, and Rubi. She is also survived by her siblings, Julio, Roy, Raúl, and Irma Arellano, as well as in-laws, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Alma was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and a cherished sister, aunt and friend whose presence left a lasting impact on all who knew her. She will always be remembered for her love, vibrant spirit and laughter she brought to every room.
The family sincerely appreciates the support and asks that you keep her and their loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Visitation will be March 24 from 6 to 7 p.m. and a Funeral Service starting at 7 p.m. at Callaway Jones Funeral Center. Burial will be on March 25, at 11:30 a.m., at Restever Memorial Park.
