Alton Carlson Obituary

December 10, 1941 – August 20, 2007

Alton "Sonny" B. Carlson, 65, of Franklin passed away Monday, August 20, 2007 at his residence. Services are set for 5 p.m. Thursday, August 23 at McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin. Pastor Ross Cunningham of Milano will officate. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.

Sonny was born December 10, 1941 in Austin to Alton Lamar and Modestine Carlson. He was a graduate of La Marque High School and attended the University of Houston. He was self-employed in sales and was a resident of Franklin for the past 27 years, previously living in Houston. He was a member of the Masters Gateway Church in Milano, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, KoKo Carlson, and brother, David Carslon.

Survivors include his brother, Randy Carlson of Bryan; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David and Sally Martin of Dayton, Johnny and Carrie Steubing of Willis; and cousin, Cherie Boeving of Irving.
Donations may be made to the Fullness in Christ Ministries, P.O. Box 136117, Fort Worth, Texas 76136.
Arrangements are under the direction of McCauley Funeral Home, Franklin, Texas, 979-828-3246.
