August 2, 1937 - November 23, 2017
Carol M. Hartman Beaird, 80, formerly of Hempstead, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017 at Generations Center for Senior Living in Bryan. A private Celebration of Life took place Saturday, December 2, and memorial services will be at a later date.
Carol was born on August 2, 1937 in Denver, CO to Clarence and Jeannie Brick. She was a homemaker and enjoyed auctions, antiques, traveling, jewelry and her grandchildren. She was also very fond of her furry companions, Bouncer and Sweetpea. Carol was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hempstead, Texas where she was a member of the Trinity Women's Organization and a member of the choir.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Clarence James Hartman.
Survivors include her four sons, Dennis Ray Hartman of Waller, Texas, Aubrey Neal Hartman of Houston, Arthur William Hartman of College Station and Frank Anton Hartman (Daphane) of Bryan; a brother, Charles Brick of Houston; sister in law, Hilda Marie Dodd of Hempstead; eight grandchildren Heather Butler (Brian), James Hartman (Sarah), Jennifer Black (Sean), Ashley Brophy (Ted), Alisha Hartman (Aaron Josey), Robert Hartman, Craig Hartman and Morgan Torres; and 11 great-grandchildren, Hunter, Taylor, Kayla, Ellie, Autumn, Liberty, Dakota, Aiden, Alanna, Zoey, and Jazmine. She also leaves behind numerous niece and nephews.
The family would like to thank all the nurses and caregivers at Generations and Dr. Richard Herron for caring for our mother in her last days. Also, thanks to her friends at Waldenbrook Estates for your friendship and compassion during this difficult time.
