Charlotte Stasny Obituary
March 31, 1957 - October 17, 2023
Charlotte Marie Stasny, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. She was born on March 31, 1957, in Bryan, Texas to William A. "Billy" Stasny Jr. and Elizabeth Marie Stasny. Charlotte was a beautiful soul with a simple purpose: Love. She loved bear hugs, she loved kisses, but most of all she loved to be loved.
Charlotte attended Bryan Public School Special Education Classes and later worked at New Trend Industry, a workshop for the handicapped, for nine years. She spent most her life in the family home before moving to Crestview Retirement Community in 2021.
Charlotte enjoyed hand-held radios and almost always had one with her. She loved cartoons as well as any toy that played music or talked. Charlotte loved noise! These simple joys brought out her radiant smile that everyone knew and loved.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her father, William A. "Billy" Stasny Jr.
She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Marie Stasny; uncle, Anton W. Hajek; as well as numerous cousins and other relatives who admired Charlotte deeply.
Visitation will begin on Monday, October 23 at 6pm at Hillier of Bryan with the Rosary to be recited at 7pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 24 at 1:30pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 507 E. 26th St., Bryan, TX 77803, with Reverend Monsignor John McCaffrey presiding. Charlotte will be laid to rest next to her father at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Countless memories fill our hearts and we will forever treasure the moments we shared with Charlotte. The family extends gratitude to the Skilled Nursing Heritage at Crestview as well as Hospice Brazos Valley for their expertise, guidance, love, and care.

Oh Charlotte and that sweet smile. I´ll always remember the original four-Charlotte, Michael, Caroline and Stacie. I enjoyed so many TARs activities with this group. This world would be a better place if every family had a special person to teach them the pure joy in life. Liz, I know you have so many great memories to get you through this time. May God bless and help you through this. The smiles those kids had would get you through anything

Elizabeth,
Charlotte was so special! We remember her when you and Billy would bring her to Mass and we were nearby. She loved loved the Sign of Peace at Mass. She was so filled with God´s Love and wanted to share it with others. May she rest in His Peace.
