Christopher Barker Obituary
Christopher "Chris" Barker, 27, of Peach Creek, passed away April 30, 2010. Funeral services are set for 9 a.m. Friday, at Nobles Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Harold Barker officiating. Interment will follow in Peach Creek Cemetery.
Chris was born in Bryan, on January 28, 1983 to Raymond and JoEllen (Dawson) Barker. He was a family man who loved the outdoors, and loved being a father to his two daughters.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Ina Mae Barker, and Alton and Cookie Dawson
Survivors include his wife, Cassandra Ross of Peach Creek; and his daughters, Rachell Mae Barker and Katie Ann Barker, both of Peach Creek; his parents and a sister, Beckie Barker of Sour Lake; brothers, Robert Barker of College Station, Billy Barker and Daniel Barker, both of Peach Creek, and Timothy Barker of Crystal Beach; nieces and nephews, Jimmy Seay of Peach Creek, Jennifer Harris and Amanda Harris of Houston, and Brandi Barker of Crystal Beach; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Michael "Z-Bo" Zalobny of Snook, Brandon Vick of Wellborn, Porter "PJ" Lunsford, Jr. of Iola, Rodney "Bubba" Zalobny of Wellborn, David Dugger of Navasota and Larry Wayne Randall of Millican.

Im so sorry for you loss. Im also sorry that it took till now to find out and send my condolances. Redboy was a great guy and all of us that new him knows that the world is a dimmer place without him in it. My pray and thoughts are with you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss Cassandra I will keep you and all your family in my prayers. If you need to talk or just need friend please don't hassitate to call. I didn't really know Chris, but I have met him & most of his family. I just want to say I'm sorry for the family's loss. They are a very close family.
