Daniel Gonzales, III, age 16 of Galveston, passed away Friday, August 11, 2006 at UTMB Hospital in Galveston. Daniel was raised by his grandparents Daniel and Linda Gonzales, Sr. and was a lifelong resident of Galveston. He completed his 8th grade year at Weis Middle School.
Daniel loved music, his guitar, skateboarding, fishing and swimming.
He is survived by his mother and step father Leticia and Joe Vasquez of Bryan; his father Daniel Gonzales, Jr of Galveston; three brothers Randall Espinoza, R.J. Espinoza and Joseph D. Gonzales; two sisters Mary Ann Gonzales and April Ann Marie Gonzales all of Bryan; his grandparents Daniel Gonzales and Linda Gonzales, Sr. of Galveston and Jesus C. Molina of Sinton; aunts and uncles Laura Moreno, Margaret Jones, Melinda Gonzales, Mary Lopez, San Juanita Torres and Lisa Garcia all of Bryan, Antonio Gonzales and Pablo Gonzales of Galveston, Jose Molina of Sinton and David Molina of College Station.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30am Saturday, August 19, 2006 at Santa Teresa Catholic Church with Father Cesar Jaime Guzman Diaz officiating. Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm Friday with a Rosary to be recited at 6pm at Hillier Funeral Home. An additional visitation will take place from 9:30-11am Friday at the funeral home.
