Don Kopetsky Obituary

Don Kopetsky, 83, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024 at his home in Bryan, Texas.
Don was born August 22, 1941 in Edge, Texas, the son of Adolf Albert and Millie Pauline (Novasad) Kopetsky. He retired from Terracon as a Sr. Project Manager after many years of dedicated service. Don loved spending his free time at his land in the country where he passionately enjoyed working with his cows and taking care of his property.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Janie Kopetsky. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Stuart and Laurie Kopetsky, Alan and Holly Kopetsky, Brad and Dana Kopetsky; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby G. and Debbie Kopetsky; grandchildren, Hayden Kopetsky and wife Rachel, Paige Strzelec and husband Wally, Kash Kopetsky, Blake Kopetsky and wife Katelyn, Colby Kopetsky, Marlee Enzor and husband Ian; great-grandchildren, Molly, Savannah and Steelie; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to his caregivers, Rochelle Rhodes and Chasity Premeaux, for taking such loving care of Don.
A visitation will be held at Central Church in College Station, Texas on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 10:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 am. Reverend Tim Skaggs of Central Church will be officiating. All are invited to lunch immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Church NEXT Initiative Building Fund.
