Elmo Meredith Obituary
Elmo "Garland" Meredith, Jr. passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012. A Memorial Service will be held at his residence at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012.
"Garland" was an avid Ham Radio Operator; a Free Mason and belonged to Masonic Lodge, Bryan, TX. He graduated with an Electrical Engineering degree from Pierce College, Woodland Hills, CA.
He was preceded in death by Garland Meredith, Sr.; Marguerite (Howard) Meredith, son, Robbie Meredith; and two wives, Delores Meredith and Norma Jean Meredith.
Survivors include his wife, Dianne M. Meredith of Bryan, TX; two sons, Kenneth W. Meredith of San Jacinto, CA; Michael H. Meredith of Kingsman, AZ, and one brother, Don H Meredith of Duffield, Alberta, CN, three grandchildren, Shannon Meredith of Las Vegas, NV, Colton and Sofia Meredithof Kingsman, AZ.
The family would like to express thanks to Compassion Care Hospice and Rhonda Sharp (Chaplain) for their great care and to the Ham Radio Club for their love and support.
In lieu of flowers; the family requests donations be made to Memorial Funeral Home, Hearne, TX.

Garland and I were close friends in junior and senior high school. I always enjoyed spending time with him and am sad to see that he has passed on.
