Gary Cobler Obituary
July 25, 1944 - May 27, 2017
Gary Lee Cobler, 72, of Bryan passed away Saturday May 27, 2017. His memorial Celebration of Life will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday, May 29, 2017 at Wheels, 3000 N. Texas Ave. in Bryan. His family is honored to invite all his friends to come celebrate Gary's life on Memorial Day. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers of Bryan College Station.
Gary was born July 25, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio, to William Earl and Eileen Hoffman Cobler. Gary was retired from truck driving and was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathleen Cobler, and his parents.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, John and Katherine Chesson, Douglas Cobler, Allen and Michelle Trahan; daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle Shehadeh, Leanne Cobler, Eileen Cobler and Jon Branchau, Brenda and Jeff Billings, Colleen Bennie; brother, William Cobler and wife Cindy; sixteen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren; and his friend Dee Blackmon.
