Glynn Erle Thornton, 62, left this earth on April 5th, 2020. He left behind a wife and family that loved him very much. May he rest in Peace! The Lord truly received an angel that day.

Glynn and I went to Navy Technical Schools in Orlando, Florida in 1978. We served on the USS Howard W. Gilmore in Sardinia, Italy, U.S. 6th Fleet and in Hawaii at U.S. Naval Submarine Base, Pearl Harbor. Glynn was a great friend and Shipmate, always had a smile on his face and his quick wit with that Texas drawl was classic. Rest in Peace my friend!
