Aug 4, 1951 - Oct 22, 2025
Gregory Allen Linder, 74, of Navasota, went into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. A visitation will be held Friday, October 31, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Trevino Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025, at LifeChurch, with Pastor Paul Fowler officiating. A burial will follow at Bryan City Cemetery.
Greg was born on August 4, 1951, in San Diego, California, to Bartley Joseph Linder and Edna Rosezella Willoughby. Raised in a large family, he cherished many adventures with his sister and brothers, and their strong bond was evident through their harmonized singing.
Once grown, Greg became a loving husband and a devoted father. He was endlessly creative, sharp-minded, and hardworking. Whether practicing dentistry, remodeling his home, or tackling real estate projects, Greg always found time to show up for his kids' events. Lovingly seen as a dreamer, he enjoyed working on business ideas, and taking spontaneous trips to see a dome. Once retired his creativity flourished as he wrote songs, worked on his property, and spent cherished time with his family.
Truly seen as the hands and feet of Jesus, Greg took care of anyone around him in need. His kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit opened countless doors to share the gospel. Greg will be deeply missed, but the legacy of his faithfulness to the Lord will impact generations to come.
Greg is preceded in death by his parents, Bartley and Edna; his beloved wife of 22 years, Sally Linder; brother, Bart Linder; stepmother, Barbara Linder; and his precious granddaughters, Attalie Cooper and Emberlynn Sandusky.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory three sons, Nathaniel Wayne Covey (Donna), Daniel Austin Sandusky (Emily), and Benjamin Allen Linder (Klara); two daughters, Stephanie Marie Cooper (Micah) and Stacey Nicole Ham (James); six brothers, Gary Linder (Linda), Dan Linder (Delores), Steve Linder (Renee), Randy Linder (Charity), Eric Linder (Melodie), and James Snuffer; one sister, Connie Linder; and ten beloved grandchildren-Arielle, Evelyn, Kalel, Judge, Capri, River, Charlotte, Hyatt, Othniel, and Florence-as well as numerous other family members and friends.
