Todd, Hoyt Wayne

July 13, 1963 - January 16, 2024

Hoyt Wayne Todd was reunited with his Lord on January 16, 2024, on a morning drive to work in an unexpected automobile accident.

 

Hoyt was born in Bryan, Texas on July 13, 1963, to John Wayne and Dorothy Nell Todd. (Preceded in death.) He was a graduate of North Texas State University. After college Hoyt went on to be an insurance adjuster. He married Kim Stamper on October 2,1999. They had a son Kaleb Todd, who Hoyt loved spending time with.

 

Hoyt loved football, hunting, fishing, music, playing guitar (he was also a great songwriter). He was larger than life and loved his family dearly, he will be missed by all who knew him.

 

He is survived by his wife, Kim Stamper Todd of Shiloh Texas; son, Kaleb Wayne Todd and girlfriend, Kristen Lockhart of Liberty, Hill, Texas; brother, Jason D. Todd and wife, Kim Denby Todd, of Rockdale, Texas; nephew, Brant Todd of Dallas, Texas; mother-in-law, Dorthy Frazier of Georgetown; and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eddie and Mary Nell Ryan; father-in-law, Doug Frazier; and niece, Madison Todd.

 

Hoyt's celebration of life is scheduled for February 24, 2024, 2 p.m. - 5 p.m., KC Hall, 2201 East Fourth Street, Taylor, Texas 76574. Luncheon will take place at 2:30p.m. with a celebration program starting at 3:30 p.m.

 

In lieu of flowers please donate in Hoyt's name to Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
