Jason Michael Wright Jr.

July 8, 1999 - August 31, 2018

OoKaaaay, I was born July 8, 1999 in Naples, Florida, but lived in Leesburg, Florida. Later, I moved to Livingston, Texas, where I started school at Timber Creek Elementary. I moved to College Station in time for me to start school at Cypress Grove Intermediate. I went to A&M Consolidated Middle School, where I learned to love football. At A&M Consolidated High School, I played football and enjoyed track. Playing basketball with my friends was another way I pushed myself to stay in shape and have fun.

I was really blessed, and got to be raised by my PoPo (grandfather), Nanny (great-grandmother), as well as my mom and dad, Eric and Wendy Williams. This helped me to be close to my entire family. My dad Eric is a Houston fireman and worship pastor, and my mom Wendy is a teacher. I have two step-sisters, Dana and Ashton Stenstrom, as well as a brother named Lyndon and two sisters Autumn and Jenny Lynn.

Summers were always awesome, because I got to go to Florida every year with my PoPo, and then somewhere else with the rest of the family. I was always really close with my family, and loved being a big brother.

I was raised right, so I knew that I should have manners, and I usually did. I really liked to have fun, I loved Jesus, and trusted in Him to guide me where he wanted me next, even though it was sometimes hard. Most of my closest friends came from my church, Living Hope Baptist. They were really great friends. I hung out with my brother Lyndon, my friends Joseph, Justin, Jonathan, Amanda, my cousins Liberty and Julie, and Jalie and Connor when I could. I love all of my friends…you know, I can't list everyone. Although I struggled still with sin, I trusted Jesus, and I knew he loved me. I was thankful that when I met up with my birth father that I was able to talk with him about Jesus.

One of my favorite things to do was to eat. Although like every good Texas boy, I loved Whataburger and pizza, the most important thing was that there be a lot of it. This was the main reason I loved the holidays so much. There was so much food. There were so many places to go during the holidays that no one stopped me from eating my fill.

My other passion was music. I loved to listen to just about everything, ranging from country music like Rodney Atkin to Christian rappers like NF. I loved them all. Although my younger sisters thought I liked some weird songs, I could impress my brother with my amazing freestyling abilities. I liked to be creative and sing and rap.

In my free time, I loved going hunting and fishing, ice skating, movies, playing video games, making music, watching Nascar, and adding to my sick shoe collection. When my mom cut me off from buying shoes, I decided to make us both happy and I took my brother with me to buy her a pair of pink Vans.

I worked for some time at Terracon, which is a concrete engineering company. It was a stepping off job to help me as I tried to figure out what to do next. I had just left there and was on my way to Tyler to start another job and learn to be more "grown up," when Jesus called me home on Friday. Bro, I could have never imagined what this place would be like and it is too awesome to explain and describe. Give Jesus a chance. Trust him and you will understand one day when you join me. Until then, love God and enjoy each other.

To celebrate my life, my family has planned a Celebration Gathering, which will be held from 5-8 pm on Thursday, September 6, 2018, at Hillier Funeral Home of College Station. Life Celebration Services will continue at 11 AM at Living Hope Baptist Church of College Station on Friday, September 7, 2018. My Earthly body will be laid to rest next to my family at 3 PM on Friday at Restland Memorial Park in Livingston, Texas.
