Jesse Rodriguez Obituary
Jesse S. Rodriquez Jr., 77, of Bryan passed away on Friday, March 6, 2009, at his residence.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at Hillier Funeral Home with Rosary at 7 p.m.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, at Santa Teresa Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Bryan City Cemetery.
Jesse was born on March 26, 1931, in Hearne to Jesus and Cira Rodriquez.
He was a baker at Duncan Hall at Texas A&M University for more than 20 years and for First Baptist Church of Bryan for more than five years.
He enjoyed watching wrestling and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Alice Salas Rodriquez.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Maria Rodriquez; sons and daughter-in-law, Jesse Rodriquez and fiancé, Catherine White, of Bryan and Rufus and Jan Rodriquez of Carrollton, Texas; grandchildren, Julia and Charlotte Rodriquez of Bryan; siblings, Luz Santos of Pearsall, Texas, Ricarda Reyes of Bryan, Felis Wyatt of Houston, Margaret Rodriquez of Bryan, Julian Rodriquez of Greeley, Colo., Roy Rodriquez of Houston, Sally Barnes of Magnolia, Anita Luna of Caldwell, Joe Rodriquez of Huntsville and Marie R. Hall of Utopia, Texas; and one great-grandchild on the way.
