John played my favorite character on General Hospital. The joy, tenderness and compassion that he had in real life was so obvious on the screen, particularly in Sean's scenes with Sharon Wyatt (Tiffany), Kristina Wagner (Felicia), Kimberly McCollough (Robin) and Finola Hughes (Anna) and Tristan Rogers (Robert). The last episode that he and Sharon did on General Hospital in February 1995 was the last day I watched the show because I knew that things couldn't ever be the same. May God welcome him into Heaven and may his family and friends be comforted by the many memories and happy times they shared with John. A heartfelt thanks to you John Reilly for giving this viewer many happy hours. You will always be GH's sweet Sean.

John's character on GH was one of my favorites back in the 1980s and 90's. This is very sad news indeed. I've met many members of the cast but was never blessed with the opportunity to meet John. Obviously, he was well loved by his co-workers. Farewell "Sean", Heaven just got a new Irish angel.
