Joshua Weimar Obituary

Weimar, Joshua David

November 19, 1981 - January 22, 2025

Joshua David Weimar, of Houston, TX lived from 11/19/1981 to 1/22/2025. He was survived by his 4 daughters Natalie, Hailey, Lindsey, Emily and his 6 siblings Alana, Wendy, Angela, Tiya, Max, and WeiWei. Also by his parents Renee Trahan, Thomas Weimar, Miaochan Zhi and grandparents Ray and Gwendolyn Weimar, Lacey and Joyce Faires, and Jo Krystinik. Don't forget his 721 loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins whom we can't afford to name because they charge by the letter. He was a well loved jokester that always made people laugh, a friend to everyone, and there for you always. He was a hardworking single father who loved his kids. Uncle Cheeseburger loved to fish, cook, BBQ, dogs not cats, blue teddy bears, and to jiggle his belly. He loved baseball and was the biggest Kyle Tucker fan. He loved fixing cars and losing tools and had untrustworthy movie recommendations. He was so close to his dream of living on the lake across from his best fishing buddy Stephen. Like all of us, he wasn't perfect but he was ours and we will miss and love him more than anyone could know. Services will be held Friday, February 14th at 10:30 a.m. at Mary Queen Catholic Church in Friendswood, Tx.

I hadn't seen him in a while and we decided to go surprise him at the baseball field. He sauntered up, peered at me through the chain link, and exclaimed "GASBAG!"

I am so lucky to have known and loved him ... and to call him family.

As we mourn his unexpected passing, may fond memories of his humor and larger than life personality help ease our grief. He will be so missed!

Josh, you were never afraid of any that I know of. You had a mean fastball and the only Weimar that could do the Iron Cross on the rings. Took you scuba diving for the 1st time and you were feeding catfish by hand. Miss you Nephew.

Josh was the Best Dad to his daughters. Always quick to smile and make them laugh. Stepped up to care for his disabled daughter and gave her the best care. He'll be greatly missed.
