Valerie, I know your time with Mike was short but I know you value every minute. I just wish the Ryan side of the family could have had time to meet and get to know Mike. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Emily and Ryan. I sincerely hope we can visit soon. Just know that we all love you and will keep you in our prayers.
With love, Mary Lou

Mike's smiling face will be greatly missed. While he attended Brazos Fellowship he spent many Sunday's helping with the parking and greeting ministry. Mike never met a stranger and always made everyone feel welcome. Valerie and the Gerbig family, you will be in our prayers.

To: Mike's family,
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose. I have no words to take away the pain in your heart, know that Mike will be missed, I looked forward to his next batch onion rings. My ten year grandson Ryan said to me while playing on my computer;; grandpa I will miss you when you have to go. After several seconds, he looked around the monitor and said;;but I know;; I will see you on the other side of the river Jordan.
I say to you Mike "but I know;; I will see you on the other side of the river Jordan".
