July 3, 1930 - September 21, 2017

CWO4, retired, Patrick Dennison Liggett, 87, former resident of Normangee & College Station, died at his home in Southport, FL, Thursday, 21 September 2017 of natural causes. Private family services will be planned for a later date.

He was born fourth of ten children to Milford George "Bill" and Mildred Sella "Peg" Rada Liggett on 03 Jul 1930 in Stamford, SD.

Living a full life of adventure, he was aided for 20 years by the Army/Air Force. Retiring at only 37, he worked with Nu-Way Oil and managed an airport in Roseburg, OR. When life's circumstances brought him to Texas, he met and married the love of his life, Helen. Patrick never met a stranger and enjoyed meeting and visiting with people from all walks of life. He developed a deep faith over the course of his lifetime and enjoyed studying God's word and discussing it.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Beverly Jean Liggett & Carol Ann Liggett Jackson; Earl Lewis Liggett, Wayne Arthur Liggett, Larry Guen Liggett & David George Liggett; and stepdaughter, Ramona Darce Cornett.
