February 2, 1950 - January 7, 2022
Richard Charles Gendron, 71, of Bryan, Texas passed away peacefully, Friday, January 7, 2022.
The third of four brothers, he was born in Queens, NY and raised on Long Island, NY. Richard was a proud Veteran of the US Army and served bravely in the Vietnam War. He moved to Bryan after returning from Vietnam where he remained until his passing.
Richard was a proud son, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Richard Gendron and Rose Lee DeLuke Gendron; brothers, Raymond Joseph Gendron and George Alphonse Gendron; and his beloved dogs, Bosco and Charlie Girl.
Survivors include three daughters, Wendy Young-Griggs of Houston, Susan Gendron of Austin, and Jenny Scott of Bryan; his brother, John Henry Gendron of Bryan; seven grandchildren, Shantay Walker, Nicole Young, Frances and Benicio Ramirez, Madison, Caroline and Christian Brummer; two great-grandchildren, Terrence and Brook-Lynn Walker; other family, many friends, and his beloved dog, Puddles.
Private family Celebration of Life is planned for a later date.

To my precious daughters, Wendy & Susan and to their sister, Jenny,
So sorry for the loss of your dad, Richard. I know you all had your special relationship with him. I know he loved his kids grandkids and great grandkids very much.
His passing leaves a big void in each of their world.
May be rest in Peace.
