Robbie Thornton Obituary
Robbie Lee Thornton, 83, of Dallas, formerly of Bryan, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2009.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at Jones-Washington Mortuary.
Services are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, at Salem Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. M.D. Morgan officiating.
Interment will follow at Walker Settlement Cemetery.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Herman Beverly, of San Antonio, James and Marjorie Thornton, of Houston, Alton and Margaret Thornton, of Minneapolis, Minn.; daughters and sons-in-law, Thelma and Ervin Davis Jr., Doris and William Reeves, Iron Thornton and Dorothy Thornton, all of Dallas; brother and sister-in-law, James and Alaree Beverly of San Antonio; sisters, Frankie Dunmon, of San Antonio, Doris Scott of Italy, Texas and Willie Jayee Mitchell, of Dallas.

To the Thornton Family.
I am saddened to hear of Mrs. Robbie's passing. Such a nice and friendly person. As a former member of the Salem Missionary Baptist Church my family knew the Bevery and Thornton family, good christian people. Mrs. Robbie will be missed. May she forever rest in peace.
