Robert McGlohon Obituary

May 8, 1962 - April 7, 2010

Robert Alfred McGlohon, Jr., 47, beloved son of Alys and Bob McGlohon of Kerrville, Texas passed away in Bryan, Texas on April 7, 2010. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.

He was born in Topeka, Kansas on May 8, 1962. He attended schools in Arizona, Mississippi, and California and graduated from the Kaiserslaughtern American High School in Germany.

He graduated from Texas A & M University and St. Mary's Law School. He worked as a reporter in Clute, College Station, Killeen, and Kerrville, Texas.

He clerked for the Texas Supreme Court of Appeals, was a defense attorney in San Antonio, a trust officer for Wells Fargo in Austin, and an Assistant District Attorney in Palestine, Crockett, and El Paso. Most recently, he was a defense attorney in Brazos County.

Survivors include his younger brother, David McGlohon and his wife, Kimberly, of El Paso; and his sister, Amy Goertz and her husband; Jason; of Dripping Springs; as well as five nephews and nieces, Tyler, Ellen, and Janie of El Paso and Rebecca and Michael of Dripping Springs.
