Robert Wayne Mills was born August 10, 1965, in Houma, Louisiana, to Norman and Helen Mills. On December 1, 2025 he passed away surrounded by loved ones.

On August 9, 1992, he married the love of his life, Michele Renee Mills, and together they built a family rooted in devotion and strength. Wayne was the proud father of Lauren Ashley Bledsoe and Seth Thomas Mills, and he was blessed with a son-in-law, Tracy Bledsoe, and a cherished granddaughter, Emilia Renee Bledsoe, who brought immense joy to his life.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Michele Mills; his daughter, Lauren Bledsoe; his son, Seth Mills; his granddaughter, Emilia Bledsoe; his mother, Helen Mills; his sister, Sandra Mills; his aunt, Martha Savage; his bonus mother, Deloris Peterek; and his bonus sister, Amy Neely Harmon.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Thomas Mills, Sr.; his brother, Norman Thomas Mills, Jr.; and his maternal grandmother, Eva Savage.

Wayne dedicated his career to the oil and gas industry, where he was respected for his strong work ethic, steadfast dedication, and unwavering integrity. His commitment to his family and his profession defined the remarkable life he lived. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at 12pm at REB TX Ranch, 568 FM 2693, New Waverly, TX 77358.
