Susan Kay "Skelly" Trant, 66, of Anderson lost her courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Hospice Brazos Valley Inpatient facility in Bryan. At Susan's request, no services are planned.

Susan was born on November 15, 1951 in Streator, Illinois to Winifred Skaggs. She married Robert "Mike" Trant and together they raised two sons. She worked in retail most of her life and enjoyed being around people. She had a smile for everyone she met and a heart of gold. She enjoyed cooking, working in her flower beds, collecting purses, movies and sewing fleece blankets. Her happiest times were those spent with her family and her two canine companions, Sheeba, a Shitzu and Snooki, a long haired Chihuahua.

Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Trant; her mother, Winifred Skaggs; and sister, Diane.

She is survived by her sons, Roman Trant and fiance, Cathy of Iola and, Rammy Trant and wife, Wendy of Bryan; grandsons, Preston Trant and Westin Trant; nephews, Rudy Acosta Trant and wife, Ivette and Thomas Yuhas and wife, Sandy; and her devoted dogs, Sheeba and Snooki.

Very special thanks to her team of physicians and nurses at The Cancer Center in Bryan, as well as Hospice Brazos Valley. Your care, kindness and compassion will not be forgotten.
