Terri Trevino
Terri K. Trevino, 56 of Franklin, Texas entered eternal rest Sunday, October 12, 2025, at home in Franklin surrounded by family.
She was born on May 6, 1969, in Carrollton, Georgia, daughter of Barry King and Sue Kirkpatrick.
Terri retired as a District Director for the USDA, Farm Service Agency (FSA), on October 1, 2025, after completing 36 years of federal service. She was responsible for the oversight of federal farm programs and loans in the 16-county area of central Texas. She started her career with the USDA in Carrollton, Georgia before being promoted to the Farm Loan Manager position for the USDA, FSA in Marlin, Texas in 1999. Terri worked her entire career serving the agricultural producers of Georgia and Texas. In 2011 she received the FSA Administrator's and USDA Secretary's Award for her work and leadership with the agricultural education department at Calvert High School. In 2024 Terri received the FSA's Administrator's – Lifetime Achievement Award.
Terri had a strong passion for her faith in God, family and agriculture. She was a very active member of her community, serving as a superintendent for the Visual Arts Division at the Robertson County Fair, board member of the Franklin Chamber of Commerce, Marlin Rotary Club, Robertson County Carnegie Library, religious education teacher at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and troop leader of the Girls Scouts of America, Troop 9401. Terri was an avid sports fan, cheering on her Georgia Bulldogs and Texas Aggies on any given weekend. Terri was always present at her daughters' events and volunteered in many capacities as a coach or parent volunteer.
Terri is survived by her loving husband, Eddie Trevino, daughters, Ellis Trevino and Alex Trevino, parents, Barry King and Sue Kirkpatrick, sister, Candice Mallard and numerous nieces and nephews. Eddie and Terri met in 1998, at a work meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana, where they fell in love and were married in May 2000, at a beautiful ceremony in Tallapoosa, Georgia. Together, they built a wonderful life in Franklin, raising their daughters and creating countless cherished memories filled with love, laughter, and faith.
Funeral services will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1371 W FM 1644, Franklin, Texas on Thursday, October 16, 2025. Rosary at 11:00 AM followed by Funeral Mass at 12:00 PM.
