Robert "Mike" Trant, of Anderson, passed away at his ranch on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Mike was born on October 26, 1941 in Baytown to the late Robert Mickle Trant and Mary Winifred (White) Trant. He served his country in the United States Army and married Susan Kay Skelly on May 24, 1981. Mike was a rancher and loved the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dan David Trant.
Survivors include his wife Susan of Anderson, sons & daughters-in-law Rammy and Wendy Trant of Bryan and Roman and Carrie Trant of Huntsville; a sister, Sandra Trant of Houston, nephews Rudy Trant and wife Ivette of Miami, FL, and Thomas Yuhas of Pennsylvania, and one grandson, Preston Michael Trant.
