Many days have passed since riding the bus with Calvin and Loyd. I've been glad to have known people like Calvin and Loyd. Sorry for the loss and pain that all of you are having after the loss of your father.

I have been blessed to know W.C. for nearly 70 years. A good man and legendary rancher. We always talked about the weather, cattle prices etc. When I read of his passing, I recalled W.C. asked me to offer a prayer at a field day at his ranch. Prayer normally is not on the agenda. This spoke loud and clear -W.C. is a Christian and is now in heaven. Lloyd Joyce

My heartfelt condolences to Joyce and the entire Scasta family. My late husband, W.D. Pruett, was Joyce's older brother. I am deeply grateful for the wonderful times we had visiting the ranch. Junior and Bill (they called him David) were avid domino players and we had lots of fun played endless games of 42 and others. I also have fond memories of fishing in the tanks Junior kept well stocked, and the "roundups" he did in his truck. He was a great man with a big heart. He will be missed by all those who knew him. Rest in peace, Junior.
