EASLEY — Mrs. Bobbie Jean Watson Walker, 80, wife of the late Charles F. Walker, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at her home.
Born in Anderson County, a daughter of the late A.Z. and Inez Smith Watson.
Bobbie was the retired owner of Bobbie's Beauty Nook. She was a Christian and member of Corinth Baptist Church and attended First Pentecostal Church in Easley. Bobbie loved to bake. She personally delivered her cakes and pies to several funeral homes that would call her for their hairdressing needs.
Surviving are two nieces, Pamela Lee Waldrop and Donna Lynn Farr (Danny), all of Easley.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Walker was predeceased by a sister, Evelyn Watson Waldrop and her brother-in-law, Ray Waldrop.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Saturday, December 17, 2016, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home.
