Gilbert Muhlenkamp Obituary
He was born March 27, 1928, in Trinity, Ind. to the late August and Oliver (Schroer) Muhlenkamp.
On April 21, 1951, he married the love of his life, Edna Luthman, whom he loved for the past 66 years; she survives in Celina.
Also surviving are his children, Ken Muhlenkamp of Celina, Barb Evers of Burkettsville, Karen Klosterman of Celina and Sandy Van Goeye of Kalamazoo, Mich.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a brother and a sister-in-law; two sisters and a brother-in-law.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Bonnie Muhlenkamp and Jane Forsthoefel; by a granddaughter; by a brother and a sister-in-law; by a sister and a brother-in-law.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, the Rev. Vince Wirtner officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Cancer Association of Mercer County at P.O. Box 624, Celina.
