Ruth Fink Obituary
She was born Nov. 8, 1927, in Auglaize County, the daughter of Richard and Stella (Fitzpatrick) Kelley.
She married Donald W. Fink on June 12, 1948, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys; he preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 1993.
She is survived by her children: Patricia (William) Shafer of Wapakoneta, Jean (Joe) Kinninger of Wapakoneta, Daniel (Lisa) Fink of Dothan, Alabama, Becky Hawkey of St. Marys and Peg (Tony) Lowry of St. Marys; by a sister-in-law, Lois (Willard) Magoto of Versailles. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; her daughters Jody Coil and Pamela Fink; by her siblings: Lucille Bayley, Bernadine Isenberger, Bernard Kelley, Richard Kelley, Frank Kelley, Gertrude Ripploh and Betty Elizabeth Sampson and by two grandsons.
She was a 1947 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School, and retired from St. Marys Cotton Mill.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and enjoyed sewing, crafting, doing puzzles and taking care of kids. She also really enjoyed gambling.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys, Father Alexander Witt, celebrant. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, where memorial gifts may be given to either Auglaize Industries or Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
