Adele Wassenberg Obituary

FRANKLIN - Adele Wassenberg, 77, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025.
Adele was born in Sutton, Massachusetts, to the late Adelard Renaud and Viola Potter Renaud. She worked in hurricane response for the state of Florida Emergency Management. It was during her time in Florida that David fell in love with Adele's "Boston accent" while he was vacationing there, and they spent the next 33 years together. After retirement, she enjoyed crafting as well as word games and puzzles on the computer.
Adele had the type of personality that lit up any room she entered, and that same personality ensured that she never met a stranger.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepson, whom she loved dearly, Tracy Wassenberg.
Adele is survived by her husband, David Wassenberg; children, Lori, John, Deborah and Scott; grandchildren, Michael and Nicole; five great-grandchildren with one on the way; brothers, Jim and Ken; and sister, Diane. She is also survived by David's family, who adored her; stepchildren, Patrick and Elizabeth; daughter-in-law, Melissa; and five step-grandchildren.
Services will be private.
