Audrey Fulton-Lapp Obituary

FRANKLIN - Audrey Rebecca Fulton-Lapp, 54, passed away Monday, Dec. 20, 2024, in an Asheville hospital following a period of declining health.
She was welcomed into the world June 13, 1970, in a Sylva hospital by her parents, Carolyn Horn Fulton and James Robert Fulton.
Audrey could often be found in the kitchen or with her hands on a new craft. She enjoyed preparing meals for the people she loved and most recently, crafting journals for her friends and family. However, her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren.
She loved attending Promise Lane church and worshipping with her church family.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert Fulton and Grace Higdon Fulton; and maternal grandparents, Leonard Horn and Leota McCracken Horn.
She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Horn Lapp; children, Kristen (Jason) Brauer, Justin (Emerald) Gray, Benjamin Gray and William Gray; grandchildren, Daniel Houston, Edwin Houston and Dorothy Grace Brauer; special aunt, Margaret (Buck) Ledbetter; husband, Bill Lapp and his children, William Lapp, Elizabeth Lapp and Anna Lapp; and by the father of her children, John Gray.
Audrey was loved by everyone who knew her. She leaves behind many friends, including the ladies in her crafting group.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 30, in the chapel of Macon Funeral Home. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Pastor Bradley Bennett officiated. A private family burial took place in the family plot at the Higdonville Baptist Church Cemetery.
