Belva Greenwood

FRANKLIN - Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, Jesus welcomed Belva Kell Greenwood, 89, home.
Since March 2015 her loving husband, Johnny Greenwood has been waiting for her to join him in heaven. Also waiting are her parents Milford and Annie Kell; brother, Elmer Kell; and sisters, Barbara Hummel and Betty Madison.
She is survived by James and Kathy Greenwood, Jami Waldroop, Jared and Jennifer Greenwood, McCall Sanders, McKayla Sanders and Brayden Greenwood; sister, Ruby (Tim) Southard; sister-in-law, Joyce Kell; and several nieces and nephews.
Belva was a faithful and devoted member of Franklin Church of God. She retired from Belden Electric Cord, after 32 years.
Our family is so thankful today, Nannie can remember all her special recipes and is able to prepare a Thanksgiving feast for all to enjoy.
A celebration of life service was held Monday, Dec. 1, at 4 p.m., in the Grant Chapel at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home. Reverend Steve Reeves officiated. The family received friends from 2:30-4 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. A private family burial followed at Mount Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers were James, Jared and Brayden Greenwood, Mike Kell, Brian Southard, Jud Southard and Stephen Hummel.
