Brett Frissé Obituary

Frissé, Brett Eric, 45, son of Lillian and the late Donald Frissé of Gulfport. Passed away August 1, 2021 from COVID. Brett resided in Parrish, FL, with his beautiful wife Marlene (Lindnal) and the love of his life, daughter Adrianna. He will watch over and guide Adrianna through her journey in life. His friends and family will always feel his presence in their hearts and souls. Brett had three brothers: Kenneth Frissé, (Berlin, Germany), Caesar Van Ardoy III (Gulfport, FL) and the late Nelson Van Ardoy (Gulfport, FL).

Brett worked for the City of Gulfport Recreation Center in the 1990s, and graduated from Boca Ciega High in 1994. He then attended University of South Florida where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2001, followed by his Master's in Business. This allowed him to get the job of his life. Working with many doctors, he designed arthroscopic surgery tools. He got to travel the world with his job, and took amazing photographs along the way. He was Global Business Manager and Developer for Sports Medicine.

Sports were always a big part of his life. He was on Gulfport's baseball team and Bogie's High School bowling team. You could find Brett and his mom most nights at his second home, Ten Pin Lanes. He also coached on weekends and bowled several 300 games. Brett made his way to Reno to bowl for Team USA. He also loved to play golf, and made a hole in one. Sunday morning you could find him fishing with his brother-in-law and his cousin. Adrianna and her dad enjoyed cooking, making cakes together and playing golf.

Brett was a Denver Broncos fan and made sure everyone knew it. He always had his Bronco shirt and hat on. Every game day was spent with Mom and Dad – then just Mom, who spent all game days with him. We all had Broncos gear on: Adrianna with her dresses, Grandma with her hats, Brett and Marlene with their #7 shirts and Ace with his bandanna around his neck.

Brett loved practical jokes and pranks and everyone in his life fell to one at some point. He loved jokes in general. If a joke excited, Brett knew it and loved sharing it with people.

Brett was outgoing and loved his friends and family. Brett had a car he was so proud of that he put it in different car shows. It had a bubble tube that lit up turquoise, the same color as his car.

He was always willing and excited taking on new challenges at work, home and play. Always had projects going at home. Everything turned out beautiful.

This is just part of his life, that was taken too soon. You will always be remembered, in our hearts and on our minds.

September 16th was your birthday. "Happy Birthday." We will always miss you. We will always love you.
