James Grafton Obituary

James “Jim� Jeffery Grafton, 64, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Mercy Medical Center following complications of lung cancer. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Teahen Funeral Home. Burial: 1:30 p.m. Monday at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Jim is survived by his two brothers, Bob and Bill; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and sister, Susan. Jim was born on January 10, 1958 in Cedar Rapids the son of William and Kathleen Kennedy Grafton. He worked at Quaker Oats until his retirement. Jim enjoyed working with horses for many years, fishing and playing cards. He will be missed by his friends and family. Memorials may be directed to the family.
