Jerald Clark "Jerry" Huggins

Jerald "Jerry" Clark Huggins, 76, of Hiawatha, Iowa, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. A Private Family Service will be held at a later date. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family with arrangements. Jerry was born on June 29, 1948, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was a 1967 graduate of Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids. On October 4, 1966, Jerry was united in marriage to Penny Yuva in Marion, Iowa. Jerry enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. He was an avid coin collector and made books of specialty coins for his children. He also collected beer cans and loved watching hockey. Jerry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Jerry is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Penny Huggins; children, Jerry (Lisa) Huggins of Cedar Rapids, Sheri (Greg) Wolfe of Robins, Iowa, and Jeff (Shannon) Huggins of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren, Holly, Tim, Justin, and Tori; great-grandson, Cashtain; a brother and two sisters. He was preceded in death by mother and stepfather, Shirley and Tom Keal; brother, Tom Huggins; and granddaughter, Devann Hildenbrand.
