PHYLLIS ADAMS Iowa City Phyllis Adams, 91, passed away May 7, 2022. Phyllis' family will receive guests from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service, 2720 Muscatine Ave., Iowa City, concluding with a memorial service at 4 p.m. Phyllis is survived by her cherished daughter, Jennifer (Daryl) Zahradnek; and her dog, Bandet. Sadly, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Adams; son, Mark Adams; siblings, Pat, Bill and Bob; her granddaughter; and her parents. Jennifer... I'm so very sorry to hear about your Mom. She was such a special lady and I will always remember her wonderful smile, all the laughs we shared on Thursday nights while she was having her hair "done", and her kindness she shared with everyone. She truly will be missed, and may your wonderful memories of her bring you comfort.
