Tears roll down my face in realizing no one told me of my best friend's passing, and therefore I was unable to attend any of her services. Even though I met Rita right before her 90th birthday, she became near and dear to my heart very quickly. She was the truest, bluest friend I've ever had. I'll never forget our "teas" together, her wisdom she shared with me, and oh Lord did we laugh together! She had an incredible Faith that was unshakable, and she had the greatest love and pride in her family! She was a lady of grace; a woman whose heart held such empathy for others. I loved her dearly, and I will miss her tremendously! Rest easy, Rita...

I really met Rita playing dominoes and hand 'n foot. She was such a happy soul and always saw the bright side. She was truly a kind lady who loved her family dearly. Heaven is a better place because she's there.
