Robert Viall Obituary

Robert "Mike" Viall, 71, of Norway, passed away on November 28, 2024, in his home. Private family services will be held in Cedar Memorial Cemetery. Brosh Chapel and the Avacentre will be assisting the family at this time. Robert was born August 19, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Harvey and Nadine (McQueen) Viall. He graduated from Prairie High School, class of 1972. Mike worked at Amana/Whirlpool for over forty years, retiring in 2018. Mike is survived by his children Chris (Sara) Viall and Heather (Eric) Schmatt; his grandchildren Paityn (T.J.) Jordan, Madisyn Viall (fiancé Tyler Jack), Alexsis Schmatt (Logan Hadsall) and Carsen Schmatt; and a great-grandson Jonah Jordan; and his sister-in-law Bernita (Jim) Ford; as well as his nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jack Viall. Memorials may be directed to the family. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.broshchapel.com
