Edward Peak Obituary
Waverly, Ky.
Edward Llewellyn "Eddie" Peak, 68 of Waverly, Ky., died Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at his home. He was a second generation part-owner and operator of Peak Brothers Barbeque in Waverly, Ky.
He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Waverly and Moose Lodge #732 of Henderson, Ky. He enjoyed fishing, horse racing, and his dog, Buddy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Peak of Waverly. Survivors include his companion, Linda Billotte of Waverly; son, Steven Edward Peak and wife Michelle of Cincinnati, Ohio; five grandchildren, Kayln Jean Peak, Peyton Edward Peak, Alissa Northrup, Paisley Northrup, and Ella Tramble; stepdaughter, Janet Henshaw of Marion, Ky.; two sisters, Irene Rich of Clay, Ky., and Debbie Britt and husband Cyrus of White City, Ky.; three brothers, Billy Steve Peak and wife Connie of Morganfield, Ky., Bobby Peak of Waverly, Ky., and Tony Peak and wife Lisa of Waverly, Ky.; nine nieces and nephews; 23 great- nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2017 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Waverly, Ky. Fr. Dave Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p/m/ Saturday and 11 a.m. until service time on Sunday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, Ky. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery in Waverly. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church or Salvation Army.

I was saddened to hear of Eddie's passing! He always had a smile on his face and a kind word. I remember the days of SVA basketball, where Eddie was one of the leaders. We spoke of those days the last time I saw Eddie.

I am very sad to hear of Eddie's passing. I saw him a few months ago as we said goodbye to a mutual friend. He always had a hug and a smile for me, and I gladly reciprocated. Going up to the "Spirit in the Sky"! Love to my friend Eddie!

Very sorry for your loss. I remember growing up with Eddie and playing ball with him. Cherish the memories of seeing him when I visited home in Morganfield and went to Peaks for dinner.
