Jack Hibbs Obituary
Sturgis, Ky.
Jack Allen Hibbs, 71, died Wednesday, November 2, 2016.
He was a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the U.S. Army. Surviving are wife of 49 years, Sandra; sons, Jeff (Abby) Hibbs, and Matthew (Wendy) Hibbs; granddaughters, Emily, Maggy, Lilly and Tenley; sisters, Holly (Greg) Billiter and Cindy Rowley.
Funeral 4 p.m. Saturday, November, 5, 2016, at Whitsell Funeral Home. Visitation noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions to Sturgis 1st Baptist Church or Gideons International.

Jack and I were adversaries in sport beginning in Little League through high school, but I considered him a friend. I am saddened to learn of his passing. My most sincere condolences to his family.

Jack's life was one of accomplishments, successes and fulfilled hopes and dreams. How blessed to cherish his legacy he has left for all of you through your wonderful memories of him. His love and support can never be replaced, but hoping you find strength, in the love of family and in the warm embrace of friends.
