HENDERSON, KENTUCKY
Jo Ann Wolford Marshall, 86, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018, after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Louisville, Kentucky, to Charles Walter Wolford and Mary Kamer Wolford. She married William G. Marshall on September 29, 1951, and moved to Henderson, Kentucky. She was a longtime member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church of Henderson, Kentucky.
She was a devoted, loving, and supportive homemaker, spouse, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, her parents, and her siblings, John L. Wolford, M.D., Father Charles W. Wolford, and Maurice Wolford.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, William G. Marshall, Jr., M.D. (Marsha), Robert A. Marshall (Nora), Anne P. Marshall, M.D. (Jennifer), John D. Marshall (Pam), Joseph M. Marshall (Linda), James W. Marshall (Susan) and Patricia M. Taluskie; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren on the way. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Catherine Cravens.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon Monday, May 14, 2018, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 511 Second Street, Henderson, Kentucky 42420. Father Larry McBride will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 13, 2018, and 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2018, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, 604 Center Street, Henderson, Kentucky 42420, where prayers will be said at 4 p.m. Sunday

t she and Gene offered the school when it was struggling and her kind words she often expressed to me. Jo was a quiet citizen, but her principle and her values impressed more than I can ever say. I grew to love her children. She was a wonderful mother.
