Andrea Elizabeth Doyle Frigo was born on November 3, 1966 in Joliet, IL and passed away on September 5, 2025 after a lengthy hospitalization and serious illness. Our heartfelt gratitude extends to each healthcare worker and hospital employee who crossed her path or provided care.
Andrea was the middle child born to her parents, Barbara (Wenberg) Doyle and Donald Doyle. She was a truly loving and generous woman with a heart for people with special needs. During her life, she felt fulfilled working for Trinity and Easter Seals, where she provided assistance and support. Having a brother with special needs may have planted these seeds in her heart, but having a son with special needs, Nathan, transformed her into a mother to be admired. Theirs was a beautiful and special relationship. The sunshine of her days was her daughter, Sarah. She loved her so much and was thankful and proud to be her mother. She also loved and cared for her faithful boyfriend, Aaron, her loving partner.
Andrea was a warm, shining light to those who knew her. She enjoyed shopping , attending the theater, dining out at new restaurants, and upholding traditions by visiting seasonal festivities and locations. Fiercely loyal, and always willing to lend an ear, she took care of her friends and loved ones.
Adored by her baby sister, Susan. She was more than a sibling, she was the guiding star and touchstone.
Graduating from Joliet West High School, she went on to attend classes at Joliet Junior College. She worked with disabled individuals at Trinity and Easter Seals and Charter Coordinator at First Student Bus Company for 20+ years.
Preceded in death by her parents, Barbara (Wenberg) Doyle and Donald Doyle; her brother, David Doyle; and her son, Nathan Frigo. Survived by her daughter, Sarah Frigo; her sister, Susan (Doyle) Rogina, her brother-in-law, Michael Rogina, and her boyfriend, Aaron Granda. She was so loved by her nephews, Benjamin, Spencer & Jack, who called her AA. Uplifted and comforted by numerous close friends, cousins and colleagues.
Andrea's Celebration of Life will be held at First Student Bus Company at 910 Sak Drive in Crest Hill on November 2, 2025 from 10am-1pm. Visitation from 10-noon; Service of Remembrance from noon-1 pm. Donations to the wishes of the family as we navigate this difficult time.

You are so missed already, holidays will never be the same without you, you have always been the warmest, kindest, most loving person out there and were like a daughter to me. We all love you to the moon and back, Aaron will hold you forever in his heart and soul, you are and always will be his soulmate. Give Nathan a hug and know how loved you will always be.
