We celebrate Betty's life, remembering her joy, fun, courage, and love. As my sister, she was my special blessing all our lives, and we shared adventures and challenges as we moved through the years. Her family and friends brought huge consolation to her in later years, and my gratitude to them is unending.
The obituaty omitted Betty's request that memorial contributions be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Joliet and The Joliet Area Community Hospice, both of which provided care and consolation while she lived and during her passage beyond this earth.
Thank you for your prayers and kind words. Love endures.

My Aunt Betty was a special person in so many ways and I have a lifetime of memories of her ever present love. My earliest memories include her visits to DC and times spent together here and in IL w/family. Her visits to me at college, and times with just us. I miss my Aunt Blueberry and appreciate the love and help her dear friends provided her - you are our extended family. She deserves the peace the Lord has brought her.
